mission

The mission of Dublin First Baptist Church is to make the name of Jesus treasured in our community, nation, and around the world by fulfilling the Great Commission.

"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth, Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy  Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Matthew 28:18-20

We are engaged in local missions such as ramp building, feeding ministries, and medical outreach opportunities in our community on a regular basis. We also have partnered with three church congregations outside of North Carolina. One is located in New York City, another in Puerto Rico, and the third is our sister church in the country of Moldova (Eastern Europe).

Our church is excited to minister through Samaritan's Purse-Operation Christmas Child ever year. This year, we packed and prayed for over 1,300 shoeboxes to send to children throughout the world along with a Gospel presentation. We also have a sewing ministry at our church where members make clothing and gifts to be used in the O.C.C. shoeboxes and for our other mission opportunities.

Our mission partnerships also include the ministries of the BSCNC and the SBC  in their cooperative missions programs.

It is our desire to be used by God to meet people's tangible, physical needs so that we have the opportunity to be used by Him to help meet their more important spiritual needs. It is the Gospel of Jesus Christ that people need most, and the Gospel alone is what changes lives. We encourage our members to be missionaries to all those around them wherever God leads them. If you are interested in becoming more involved in making the name of Jesus treasured throughout this world, please let us know and we will help you find an exciting place to serve!
